I am one of those people who truly utilizes the outside of my refrigerator. In fact, I find myself grateful on a daily basis that it is magnetic. I have my calendar, pictures of friends and family, magnetic letters…a whole lot of magnetic letters, as well as Caroline’s artwork displayed on my fridge. I’m running out of room and decided to have Caroline help make something we could use (yes, on the fridge) to help display her beautiful works of art!

Caterpillar clothespins magnets:

What you will  need:

  • clothespins
  • small pom-poms
  • glue
  • magnet strips or magnet sheets
  • googly eyes

Note: magnet sheets missing from this picture

Step 1: Put glue on the clothespins where the pom-poms will go

Step 2: Line up the pom-poms on top of the glue in the order you want (if they are different colors)

Step 3: Glue the eyes onto the first pom-pom (the caterpillar head)

Step 4: Add the magnet strip to the back part of the clothespins. I just cut a strip of my magnet sheet which has an adhesive backing so once I cut it to the size I wanted, all I had to do was peel and stick! Super easy!!!

Step 5: Last, but certainly not least, put them on the fridge and hang artwork!
