Olivia is really into Christmas this year. Like… REALLY. She talks about Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and the elves and reindeer and trees and decorations and when is Christmas coming and is it today and how about NOW?!
Here are a few books we read pretty much every day in our house this time of year. Some are simply to get her more familiar with the holidays and some are just about the season.
Llama, Llama Holiday Drama: I really like this book because it remindsmehow overwhelming this season can be for littles. Plus Olivia really loves the word “Holidrama.”
The Polar Express: She’s only three, but she’s in preschool now. And there are older kids around and I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before someone brings up the “truth” about Santa.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas: Obviously. Because… OBVIOUSLY.
Olive the Other Reindeer: This book is worth it for the illustrations alone.
The Night Before Christmas: The be all and end all.
Any to add?
