I spy daffodils in the flower garden and pansies at the hardware store…could it really be?  Yes!  It seems at long last that Spring has finally sprung here in the Northeast.

As the mercury rises and the scape changes from muted shades of brown and gray to vibrant greens sprinkled with pops of bright colors from blooming flowers and trees, it’s time to get the kids outside to enjoy some warm fresh air and sunshine.

Spring flower festivals make for a fun family outing and also provide great photo ops for the kiddos so get your cameras ready and make plans to attend one of the following festivals this Spring!

  • Rose Weekend, Elizabeth Park, Hartford, CT – June 22, 2013 – June 23, 2013 – who doesn’t love roses in bloom?
