Forgive the frazzled mom

Forgive the frazzled mom…

…those stains on her clothes are from today. Trust me; her kids give her constant reason to do laundry so there’s no such thing as “old stains”.

Forgive the frazzled mom…

…she neglected to use her blinker when making that turn, causing you to wait unnecessarily. She was trying to pass her child a sippy cup or retrieve a lost toy.

Forgive the frazzled mom…

…she isn’t intentionally cranky. She was up all night nursing the baby and sacrificed her morning cup of coffee just to get the kids out the door on time.

Forgive the frazzled mom…

…for being late. She tried everything she could to make it to work on time.

Forgive the frazzled mom…

…for she’s doing the best she can.

Christa Allard

Christa never thought she looked particularly good in hats, but like any busy mom she finds herself wearing several of them these days. She stays home with her daughter, Nora full time, and is working towards a nursing degree and certification as a Breastfeeding Counselor. Christa lives in Wethersfield with her family, figuring out motherhood and life as she goes. She writes often about breastfeeding through toddlerhood and the journey to feeling validated in her mothering choices. Christa would like to be a character in an Amy Sherman Palladino sitcom when she grows up.
