Every once in a while as a working mother you may have a month, week, day or even a few hours where you feel like you are “IN THE GROOVE”. You feel productive at work, your kids are alive, clean and happy, and you haven’t murdered your husband/partner.
I LOVE these moments.
They come around just in time too. It is usually right before your breaking point. You know that moment when you look out the window and think. “It’s only two floors up, I could totally make that jump and then just run for the hills”
I can happily report this last week was one of those glorious weeks. As you know I started a new job in August and I love it but it is weird to be the newbie again and finally I feel like I am starting to get a grasp of everything (I am sure this will not last long, LOL). My family is doing great, we are slowly getting ready for the new baby in February and the transition of my husband from working dad to part time/SAHD. My son for the most part has been in a great mood and so much fun this week. Which is alot to say for a toddler.
So before I completely jinx myself I am going to sit back and bask in the glory of not wanting to put myself in a padded room this weekend.
