Bio: By day (and sometimes even by night) Sharlene is a proud social worker serving as the Executive Director of Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis, an agency for survivors of domestic violence. She relishes coming home to her awesome family: her wife and inspiration (and fellow blogger), their 7 year-old son and nearly 6 year-old daughter. They are an interracial couple with bi-racial children, one with special needs. Both working moms, it is a busy, often chaotic household. There is always time to dance in the living room, and family and solo exercise hours are sanity savers.
Tip for Other Working Moms: “Being a mom is magical, ever-changing and forever challenging. Sink in, and know you are enough.”
