Hmm, just saw this.
1) If I have time for nothing else in the morning, I at least make sure that I:
Brush my teeth.
2) My favorite family activity is:
We really don’t do family activities. That’s the way I was raised – I just played by myself. But I guess the closest approximation would be just relaxing after work, when possible.
3) One thing I swore I’d never do as a parent but find myself doing anyway:
Co-sleeping.
4) My favorite way to unwind after the kiddos go to bed is:
Read.
5) One hope I have for my child’s future is:
Rich, meaningful experiences that carry through childhood into adulthood, instead of morphing slowly into the burdens that tend to take shape later in life.

This is going to be fun! See below:
1. If I have time for nothing else in the morning, I at least make sure that I: Give myself one minute to sit on the couch with the TV off and eyes closed!
2. My favorite family activity is: Watching movies and talking my dog for a nice walk
3. One thing I swore I’d never do as a parent but find myself doing anyway: Well, I’m not a parent yet, but I do own a dog, so I would say talking in baby voice to her.
4. My favorite way to unwind after the kiddos go to bed is: Not a parent yet, but I’d like to take some suggestions!
5. One hope I have for my child’s future is: That she experiences and becomes a determined, passionate, empowered and DRIVEN young woman! That she doesn’t have to rely on anyone else other than herself to succeed.

I suppose I should reply to my own post!
1. If I have time for nothing else in the morning, I at least make sure that I:
Put my contacts in! I always swear I’ll wear my glasses more, but I don’t feel like I’m truly up for the day until my contacts go in.
2.My favorite family activity is:
Right now? Having meals together. I’m so looking forward to when she’s older and can do more! She’s so much fun!
3.One thing I swore I’d never do as a parent but find myself doing anyway:
I don’t have a good one for this yet, thankfully I guess. One thing I swore I’d never do and don’t really is baby talk. I do modify how I speak to Nora slightly, but I try to talk to her like a “big kid” as much as possible!
4.My favorite way to unwind after the kiddos go to bed is:
Catching up on shows or watching a movie.
5.One hope I have for my child’s future is:
That she feels supported and loved enough to be whoever she wants to be.
