I don’t know what’s come over me today but I feel this overwhelming need to thank all of those involved with CTWorkingMoms.com.
My bloggers are incredible. Every week they let the world get a glimpse into their lives. They are honest about the good things and the not-so-good things. In one day I can go from laughing, to crying and then back to laughing again based off what they write. I love reading everything they have to say and am so thankful that I’m able to connect their posts with larger outlets like the Huffington Post Parents section to get their words out to an even wider audience.
Oh wait, did I mention that blogging is not a full-time job for these wonderful women? They all have full-time jobs outside of the website and write here on a volunteer basis (although they did recently start to dream of a day when CTWorkingMoms could be their full-time jobs. Keep manifesting that, loves!).
As I’m writing this I keep thinking about that Bryan Adams lyric: “Everything I do, I do it for you.”
It’s true. I’m always thinking about how to help my bloggers reach more people, how to help them grow as writers and am always dreaming up ways to find them new opportunities (via media appearances, review opportunities etc.). I’m always thinking up ways to express my gratitude to them and love giving them little surprise gifts every now and then. Everything I do related to the website is done for them, and for you, our readers.
Of course I must also give a shout out to all my advertisers who you can see on the right hand side of the homepage. At the moment our biggest advertisers are Bright Horizons and Sow Fresh Organics and our other advertisers include: Maia Yogurt, The Girl Spot, Humble Spoon, The Children’s Clubhouse & The Odiyana Center. What an incredible group of advertisers, right? (Plug: want to advertise on CTWorkingMoms? Our rates are affordable and you’ll get bang for your buck. Email email@example.com for details)
Lastly, thank you to our readers. Obviously, without you we wouldn’t be as popular as we are these days. Thank you for taking the time to read, share and comment on our posts. Seriously, we love you.
Ok, I’ll quit being such a sap and let you get back to regularly programmed CTWorkingMoms posts!
