Bio: Carly lives in Bristol, CT with her husband Jim and her two daughters. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in English. Carly is a former Hartford elementary school teacher now working full-time at an insurance company (or as she likes to call it “the land of the misfit toys” because not many who enter the land of insurance really ever planned to be there and come from all different backgrounds/college majors)! In her spare time Carly serves on a local Nursery School board, enjoys reading, writing, painting, photography, making jewelry (pretty much anything crafty!) and she is determined to publish a children’s book one day. Carly is very excited about the opportunity to blog alongside a group of empowering working mothers and hopes that by sharing her own experiences others will be able to relate and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.
