My daughter is a rough and tough kind of girl so she certainly gets her fair share of boo-boos. Although the best remedy is always one of Mommy or Daddy’s kisses, there is one thing I have found to be a very close second. You may heard of, seen, or have one… the irreplaceable boo-boo bunny! On this Create it Saturday, I’m going to give you step-by-step instructions on how to create one of your very own!
What you will need:
- washcloth
- rubber band
- hot glue gun
- thin ribbon
- wiggle eyes
- pom-poms
Step 1: Fold your washcloth into a triangle
Step 2: Roll the washcloth tightly, starting with the top point
Step 3: Fold the rolled up washcloth in half
Step 4: Fold the washcloth in half again
Step 5: Tie rubber band around where you folded it in half the second time. This will be the head of your bunny.
Step 6: Fluff your bunnies ears up
Step 7: Tie your ribbon into a bow around the rubber band. Glue on your eyes and pom-pom nose
Step 8: Glue on the pom-pom tail
Guess what!? That’s it! You did it… you now have a boo-boo bunny of your very own! All that’s needed is the ice cube to place inside.
Now all you need is the little poem that goes along with your boo-boo bunny:
If you fall and bump your knee,
ask for a little help from me.
I’ll hold a piece of ice for you.
Your boo-boo will be good as new!
